Hi.

I just wanted to 'quit' my work good and not just leave it alone. Sorry for letting you wait.
I've downloaded the latest Jaangle-version (0.98c) and added some new translations or changed some old, when I found some.
The result is the rar-file German_200b2.rar which I've added at the first post.

PS: Maybe I'll try to get Jaangle working with W.I.N.E.^^

Wow. I was not really present for more than one year due to my switch to Linux and therefore to Rythmbox :P
Today I've got myself a new computer with Windows, so during the next weeks I'll update my translation. (I'm doing my final exams the next weeks, too, so I'm not sure when I'll be finished with a new translation^^)

See ya,
thepayne.

I'm going to use the expressions OpenOffice uses, too, as long as they fit.
Just for info and so you know I'm actually working on better solutions ;-)

I have 2 suggestions for improvement:

1.) Instead of 'Historie' (Nobody uses this expression) I would write either 'Chronik' (like in firefox) or 'Verlauf'.

2.) Instead of 'Kontrollen' for 'controls' (which is simply not the meaning of 'controls') I would suggest 'Bedienelemente' or something like that (this is the first result in the leo-dictionary as well ;)).

3.)^^ Thanks for your work on the german language-file, it is almost perfect! :)

btw: If you see a translation in [] please tell me where you found it. That means I just translated them into a german word without realizing its real function or use. -.-

[Translation] German v3.0b1 incoming

Postby thepayne » 30 Mar 2011, 23:33

Got to hype a bit :P I was about to upload a nightly build, but then I came to the conclusion I'd rather add maybe an hour or so to create a beta (or maybe final release?!) :D

Well, released a version for the newest Jaangle. A few little edits, nothing special. Biggest edit was changing the way I numbered the versions :D
